What a treat!  MAISON K is noted in the August 2012 issue of C Magazine.

Under photo: “Classic with mojo,” is one way Kendall Conrad describes her style. With two stores in Los Angeles and a client list that includes some of the coolest women around, the accessories designer has carved out a niche for herself as a champion of easy, sexy elegance.

It’s an aesthetic evident in the Montecito home she shares with her husband, director and photographer David Cameron (also CEO and creative director of Kendall Conrad Design), and their daughters Luisa, 14, and Fernanda, 12.

Inside, outside, in situ, arranged - here are my "fleurs blanches" - always stunning,

these many dreamy white flowers...

Considered a weed with a name to match please meet "Sticky Snakeroot"!  Even so I adore this

pretty white pincushion-like flower which is a member of the sunflower family.

I discovered it on one of my favorite trails maintained by the

MONTECITO TRAILS FOUNDATION.

These trails are one the greatest gifts to our community here in Santa Barbara!

Sometimes less is more; here classic white wax flowers en masse in an

ASTIER DE VILLATTE vase atop a vintage hand carved Ethiopian tray.

Adjacent, an old brass elephant bell will gently call guests to dine.

New York City in the Springtime - this charming townhouse sports white

flowers in the balcony boxes with an ivy trellis meandering below and...

Here at LADUREE in Paris on the Champs-Elysees, sometimes more is more!

This magnificent lily and philodendron arrangement is as dazzling as the

patisseries, however, not sugar free ~

These white hydrangea rank as the biggest and best ever, found in the magnificent gardens of the French seaside palazzo VILLA EPHRUSSI DE ROTHSCHILD on the Cote d'Azur in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

In Sag Harbor, make sure to visit Donna Karan's URBAN ZEN, both fashion and home, sublime!  These masses of snowballs are dreamy in the aqua glass vases, no?  And…

...love the giant pots and simple mass plantings of different white flowers.

Further East in West Sussex, English hedgerows are typically composed of a mix including Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Crab apple, Dog rose, honey suckle, etcetera, etcetera..tres jolie!

What could be more inviting but an open door, allowing you to follow the alluring scent of the casa blanca lilies inside, here at THE HOUSE HOTEL Galatasaray, Istanbul Turkey.  Try this at home!

Once again from the charming establishment of THE HOUSE HOTEL, on each landing,

bright white flowers refresh on each flight as you ascend to the top floor lounge

and restaurant with breathtaking views over Galatasaray and greater Istanbul.

A bientôt with these simple, smashing dogwood blossoms from New York.

As most of you know well, Maison K is an oasis of neutral and natural colors; white, ivory, chocolate, beige, silver, gold, etcetera, etcetera!  But that doesn't mean I don't love color.  The Abaca Ikat pillows in our recent news letter are black and ivory with a splash of red.  And hence the inspiration for these red delights…

Pictured above, a fab vitrine from the Best Dressed Windows in all the World (according to me) - the one and only Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Here, featuring an Oscar de la Renta gown and Miu Miu fur.  Ooh la la!

The most delectable, edible red - strawberries, or "les fraises."  This precious dessert of kiwi, strawberries and whipped cream was the sweet finale following an exquisite luncheon with a billion dollar view from the Jules Verne Restaurant in the Eiffel Tower.  Quelle magnifique!

Following lunch, find your way to Maison de Baccarat  - to peruse their dazzling crystal and fascinating museum which exhibits gorgeous works of the past. Pictured here, they teamed up with another iconic French establishment, Deyrolle, whose exquisite birds and other creatures brought extra awe and beauty to the presentations.  Make sure to take tea in The Crystal Room.

Now, way south of Paris on the Cote d'Azur in Cap d'Antibes - this night view was taken at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, truly one of the most extraordinary historic hotels and locations in the world.

On a wildly different note, but extraordinary all the same, Burning Man 2011 featured a phenomenal, giant, articulated metal octopus complete with fire show, escorted by these amazing seashores…

Calling Mother Nature, are these wild flowers really for real??? Yes, growing in the fields surrounding the ancient Arundel Castle near Slindon, England.

Well, we know someone else who is very fond of red...Monsieur Louboutin please stand up!

Visiting Cafe Gitane at The Jane in New York is like a mini French holiday.  The grand room is beautifully lit with the light from the river and space charmingly propped.  Cozy in!
