MAISON K is a destination boutique on East Valley Road, in the heart of Montecito. Since 2002, Kimberly Phillips Hayes has filled it with clothing chosen for its beauty, craftsmanship and the story it carries: silk that catches the California light, Nepalese cashmere, Italian linens, and pieces found nowhere else.

Every season is a new edit, gathered on her buying trips through Paris, Istanbul, Morocco, India and Italy. Nothing shouts. Everything speaks.

The Maison K Collection

Designed in Montecito. Crafted in Italy.

What began as a curator's eye has become a designer's hand. Kimberly creates her own collection, selecting the fabrics personally and working directly with artisan makers in northern Italy. Each garment carries the Maison K label and the sensibility that has defined the boutique for over two decades.

Meet Kimberly

Kimberly Phillips Hayes

A Montecito native by heart, Kimberly studied art history at UC Santa Barbara, then lived in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Each city shaped her eye: for beauty, for craftsmanship, for the way an object can transform a space and a life.

She returned home to open Maison K in 2002, and the boutique quickly became a destination for collectors and tastemakers. Her private label followed. Alongside it sit one-of-a-kind finds from her travels: vintage kaftans from Marrakech, embroidered dusters from Istanbul, antique silver, Astier de Villatte ceramics.
